Sakani.com | Sakani
A new and simplified digital real estate platform targeting the Middle East market.
Project Overview
Sakani was designed to be an innovative and simple real estate platform dedicated to serving the Middle East market. Our primary goal was to go beyond traditional listing sites by providing users with valuable, data-driven insights, which are essential for making informed decisions and securing the best property deals. The entire experience was designed to be data-rich yet visually clean, transforming complex real estate data into actionable information.

Goals
Build Trust and Reliability: Create a visual identity (branding) that reflects stability, professionalism, and modern Arab heritage.
Simplify Complexity: Design an easy-to-use user interface (UI) that simplifies the traditionally complex process of real estate search and analysis.
Prioritize Insights: Ensure that the user experience (UX) clearly highlights comparison data, market trends, and property valuation insights, not just raw listings.
Deliver a Seamless Experience: Design fully responsive interfaces for web and mobile platforms that are fast and friction-free.
Process
The project began with an in-depth analysis of regional real estate user behavior, focusing on pain points associated with information scarcity and lack of transparency.
As the designer responsible for the visual identity and interfaces, I started with the following steps:
Brand Strategy and Visual Language: I developed a brand guide centered around purple (trust and dignity) and warm neutrals (reliability and clarity). Fonts were chosen for their legibility in both Arabic and Latin characters, ensuring high data consumption efficiency.
Information Architecture (IA): Detailed wireframes were mapped out, prioritizing how users filter, compare, and digest complex datasets. The focus was on a clear hierarchy to support informed decision-making.
High-Fidelity UI Design (Figma): Blending minimalist layout principles with a rich regional context. Particular attention was paid to designing Data Visualization Components that clearly present historical pricing, neighborhood safety scores, and investment yields — the "valuable insights" promised by the platform.
Key Design Highlights:
Insight Widgets: Custom UI modules displaying comparative market analysis directly on the property page.
Interactive Floor Plans: Optimized visualization tools to engage users with the property layout and dimensions.
Bilingual Harmony: Ensuring a balanced and optimized design flow for both Arabic (Right-to-Left) and English (Left-to-Right) interfaces.
Challenges
The primary challenge was the balance between visual simplicity and data density. A typical property listing requires displaying a significant amount of legal, financial, and geographical data. This was resolved by designing clean, expandable information sections and prioritizing visuals over text clutter, ensuring that the user can access accurate and detailed information without feeling overwhelmed. Building a cohesive look for an ecosystem covering sales, rentals, and commercial properties also required a highly modular design system.

Outcome
Sakani was successfully launched with a highly sophisticated, user-friendly digital experience and brand identity. The final design fosters transparency in the Middle East real estate market. The cohesive visual identity and intuitive interfaces ensure that the platform not only looks professional, but effectively delivers on its promise of providing users with the valuable insights they need to make the best choice.
